LSIZE Handheld
Wirelessly receives measurements from the Mobile Module

Place the LSIZE Handheld in a convenient location in your measurement collection area. The Handheld receives the wireless measurements from the LSIZE Mobile Module and sends a measurement received acknowledgement back to the Mobile Module. With the large color screen on the Handheld, you will be able to see what you are doing while taking measurements and also view stats, histograms, etc. right there. When you are ready to download into the LSIZE software, you take the Handheld and place it into the docking station (that is included) by your computer and download directly into the LSIZE software. A 36-month PSION Service Agreement (I-Serve) for the Handheld is also available. PSION is the manufacturer of the Handheld unit. This is recommended but is optional.

Mobile Software

The LSIZE Handheld receives wireless measurements taken with the Mobile Module.
Ruggedized design for the industrial environment and withstands multiple drops from 6 feet to concrete.
Weighs 18.3 oz and measures 7.87" x 3.45" x 1.44". Width and depth vary, so average is given.
Place into the docking station to download measurements into the LSIZE software.
2.15" x 2.86" color touch screen with 480 x 640 pixel resolution.
LSIZE Mobile software on the Handheld provides displays for viewing stats, histograms, control charts, etc.
Shape analysis builds on the display as measurements are taken.
Battery is being charged while the LSIZE Handheld is in the docking station.
The touch screen on the LSIZE Handheld will assist you when a measurement needs to be retaken. You can also navigate using the keys on the keyboard.

Handheld in
Docking Station

The Docking Station is a key element in LSIZE Wireless, and consists of the Docking Station along with various cables and adapters.

Communication with the LSIZE software on your PC for transferring product specs to the Handheld.
Used to connect the Handheld to the PC for downloading your measurements to the LSIZE software for the PC.
When the Handheld is in the docking station, the internal lithium battery pack is being recharged. Also charges a spare lithium battery pack.
Typically, the docking station would be located next to your PC. AC adapters are available for charging multiple Handhelds rather than purchasing multiple docking stations. A Docking Station (AC adapter included) is not required for each Handheld. A Docking Station is required for each computer where measurements are downloaded to the LSIZE software on the PC. Purchase extra AC adapters for direct charging of multiple Handhelds.

Battery life	At least several shifts. We have run tests and there was battery capacity still remaining after 12 hours of continuous operation with the wireless receiver and the backlight on. If you recharge the unit on a daily basis, you should never experience a low battery condition unless the battery is at the end of its useable life.

LSIZE Wireless Handheld 36-Month Service Agreement
PSION (the manufacturer of the Handheld used in LSIZE Wireless) offers a 36-month Service Agreement under the name of I-Serv. We can also send to you via email, and it will be included with the purchase of LSIZE Wireless. You can download it below.

This Service Agreement is available through MicroRidge, and we recommend that LSIZE Wireless customers purchase this 36-month Service Agreement on each of their LSIZE Wireless Handhelds. This Service Agreement is very cost effective vs. the replacement cost for the Handheld which is in excess of $1,600. For pricing, please see the LSIZE Wireless Price List page.

If you purchase this Service Agreement, you must do so at the same time as you purchase your LSIZE Wireless Handheld. MicroRidge will include a copy of PSION's I-Serve agreement with your order, and will also mail it with your contract number and expiration date, after receiving it from PSION. This is typically several weeks after MicroRidge ships your order to you.

If you do not purchase the Service Agreement, the manufacturer’s warranty on the Handheld and Docking Station is one year for factory defects and 90-day phone tech support. The manufacturer's warranty on the cables is 90 days. MicroRidge will not handle service or tech calls on the Handheld unless the problem is with our LSIZE Mobile software or the Mobile Base wireless board. Please call us at 541-593-1656.

Highlights of the 36-Month Service Agreement (covers repair & damage to LSIZE Wireless Handheld)

This Service Agreement must be purchased at the same time as the LSIZE Wireless Handheld is purchased. If purchased later, there may be an additional charge by PSION (the Handheld manufacturer) based upon PSION’s inspection of the equipment.
This Service Agreement is for 36 months for a single handheld unit.
Includes damage, parts, and labor, including the MicroRidge installed wireless board.
There are limitations on the level of repair that will be performed.
Repair covers equipment failure and abuse. Abuse covers cracked display and/or housing (plastic).
Minimum turnaround time MicroRidge-PSION-MicroRidge is 12 days. UPS shipping can be upgraded at customer cost.
If the Handheld unit does not have to be sent to PSION for repair, and the customer has the Handheld Service Agreement, MicroRidge will give priority to any repairs needed at MicroRidge.
After receiving the repaired Handheld back from PSION, MicroRidge will: 1) Reinstall the Mobile Base wireless board in the Handheld, 2) Install the LSIZE Mobile software in the Handheld along with the registration number, and 3) Test the Handheld and wireless communications.
