LSIZE R/T Key Components

  • Integrated laser measurement system using LRS-50 Hermary Opto Scanners.

  • The software designed specifically for real-time lumber size control and built upon Windows LSIZE.  LSIZE R/T software monitors lumber sizes, performs statistical analysis, initiates alarms, and provides long-term trend analysis.

  • The latest PC and operating system with high resolution monitor.

  • Scanner Interface Panels designed by MicroRidge, which reduces installation costs and allows for additional scanner pairs to be easily added when needed.

  • MicroRidge's 20+ years of industry experience and a dedicated support team.

  • Existing optimizers and/or the SeeCon SC2000 can also be integrated with LSIZE R/T.

  • Each Scanner Interface Panel allows up to 5 laser pairs to be connected to the system.

  • The Control Station is PC based with a high resolution 19" monitor.

  • Remote Station(s) can range from the use of pcAnywhere for remote access to the Control Station with customized operator displays presenting specific information via online displays.

  • Thickness algorithms designed by MicroRidge allow each scanning station to be fine tuned to more accurately reflect the roughness of the wood being measured.

  • Historic reports include Time Series Charts for identifying trends, Shape Analysis for providing specific information about sawing performance, Histograms for overall analysis and management reporting - and more.

  • Remote display options available to fit the needs of the customer.  These remote displays may be customized so that operators can make adjustments to the sawing centers when needed.

  • Use of vivid colors in the displays lets you track performance with a quick glance.  The Alarm Log is also displayed in color, which indicates machine center performance.

  • Customized report setups (content and groups) for easy, quick and consistent reporting.
