MicroPak Support
(the MicroPak has been replaced with the new LSIZE Wireless)

The MicroPak portable data collector was released in 1990.  Because some electronic components are no longer manufactured, and newer technology is now available, MicroRidge has replaced the MicroPak with LSIZE Wireless.  The data collector associated with LSIZE Wireless has significant enhancements for the user in the measurement collection process over what we were able to offer with the MicroPak.

As of March 1, 2009, the MicroPak has been discontinued. Repairs will be available until May 1, 2011 provided parts are available. Accessories will be available until May 1, 2011 provided parts are available.  Cables and personality modules will be available longer. Repair turnaround times may increase. Pricing on parts has increased and may continue to do so.  See price list below. The Mitutoyo caliper with SPC output that you use with your MicroPak is also used with the new LSIZE Wireless.  You will always be able to purchase new calipers and caliper parts as you have done in the past.

MicroPak Support, Repair & Accessories
You can continue to use your MicroPak even when you have LSIZE Wireless.  MicroPak support will continue to be available through LSIZE Product Support.  This means that as long as you have a working MicroPak and are on Product Support, you can call for telephone training & support.  You can always call if you are having trouble with your MicroPak, and we encourage you to do so before sending it in for repair.

• Be sure that you renew LSIZE Product Support each year so that the main LSIZE contact at your mill site will receive software updates and current and new LSIZE users will be able to receive telephone training and support during the year.  LSIZE Product Support covers all LSIZE products.  Please contact us if you have any questions.

MicroPak Accessories
Providing parts are available, we will continue to support the MicroPak with repair and accessories until May 1, 2011.  After May 1, 2011, MicroPak repair and some accessories will no longer be available.
