LSIZE Training |
LSIZE Training has been held annually since 2002. It is conducted over 2 days in an interactive classroom environment with attendees from several mills. Our overall objective is to increase your skills in understanding and applying the many features of LSIZE to improve your lumber size control efforts. On-site training at your mill site is also available.
Information on training can be found below. Due to market conditions, LSIZE Training was cancelled for 2008 and 2009. We hope that market conditions will improve in 2010 so that we can hold LSIZE Training 2010. If you wish to have LSIZE Training at your site, please contact us.
Future LSIZE training will be directed towards the current version of the LSIZE software for the PC and the LSIZE Wireless.
Pricing for LSIZE Training are found on the LSIZE Price List page.

LSIZE Training in Canada October 2002 in Kamloops, British Columbia.
Training is now held in Bend, Oregon. With continued attendee feedback from over 33 companies and 42 mill locations,
the content, value and execution of each training is constantly improving.
The following are LSIZE Training sessions held to date:

Some things to keep in mind:
The training is directed primarily towards the latest LSIZE software version and LSIZE Wireless.

The class exercises are the best part of the training; that's how I learn best.
Received more than I expected, and it was not boring like I figured it would be.
As a person new to the QC department, the training provided me with valuable tools that I can use in the mill.
Jed did a very good job of sharing ideas, reports, etc.
Instructors have great knowledge of material and process.
Will improve our LRF and keep the management up to par.
It will help with our machines and our communication between shifts, QC's, etc.
Help keep products in spec and find problems on machine centers.
How to read reports and determine if it is machine operator or just a bad measurement.
We have a good program with LSIZE now. The PDF feature will help me get more information to everyone.
Now I know more about the capabilities of the LSIZE software and the MicroPak.
Awareness heightened. We will refine our use of the LSIZE System to get better results for the company.
Better communication through the reports.
Better understanding of QC and LSIZE.
Getting the team leads familiar with the LSIZE process, and having the ability to navigate through the program will give them the ability to lead the crew more completely.
I enjoyed the training and look forward to learning more.
Very good class; very helpful. Thanks.
