Technical Support & Training
|
Please contact us if you have any questions about
support for any of our LSIZE lumber size control products. We always
welcome your comments on how LSIZE is helping you improve your lumber recovery
and profits, and what improvements you need to make them even more
effective. Our dedicated sales and support team are eager to help you
wherever they can..
Technical Support
Free Support
MicroRidge provides full technical support on all of its LSIZE
products. You receive 3 months of free telephone
training & support from the day you
are shipped the LSIZE software. After the 3-month free period, telephone
support & training on the LSIZE software can be
continued with the purchase of the annual Upgrade & Support
Program, which also
includes a major software upgrade each year.
Annual Upgrade &
Support Program
The annual
Upgrade & Support Program keeps you
current on the latest version of the LSIZE software, and gives you the opportunity to
apply the new features and enhancements (many of which come directly from our
LSIZE users), in your mill's lumber recovery efforts. Maintenance also ensures
that your current and new LSIZE users have the opportunity to receive
on-going training and technical support via telephone from MicroRidge.
We always encourage your communication with us concerning hardware problems,
software bugs, functionality you would like added to the system, or quick
questions on the operation of the system.
Repair Services
(customers only)
MicroRidge can repair your MicroPak module (manufactured
by MicroRidge). We have always
offered repair services at a reasonable cost (labor + parts) since introducing
the Portable LSIZE systems in 1990.
MicroRidge also maintains an inventory of Mitutoyo caliper parts. We have
found that the turnaround time when calipers are sent directly to Mitutoyo can
be VERY lengthy. You can send your caliper to us for repair or you can
purchase the parts from us and repair them yourself. The only tool
required to repair a caliper is a very small (#0 Phillips) screwdriver. We have several
mills that maintain their own inventory of caliper parts so that they can
perform their own repairs. Please contact
Technical Support prior to sending your equipment in for
repair or for more
information on purchasing parts to perform your own repairs.
Cable Repair
The short gage cables that attach the MicroPak to the caliper are not
repairable.
MicroPak & Caliper
