- The LSIZE Wireless System
The LSIZE SPC System includes the MicroPak portable data collector and a license for the LSIZE Software for the PC. The MicroPak is now 18 years old, and some parts are no longer available. Newer technology for measurement collection is now available, and MicroRidge plans to introduce the new LSIZE Wireless System for lumber size control in Fall 2008. Initial release will be for North America. The MicroPak will be replaced with a light weight module that attaches to your caliper. Your measurements will be sent wirelessly to a ruggedized handheld computer that will have a large color touch screen where you can view stats, histograms, control charts and a visual representation of your board on the screen.
The MicroPak will be available until the LSIZE Wireless is released. MicroPak repair support will be available for 2 years after release of the wireless. If you are an LSIZE customer, we have Early Adopter Pricing available on the wireless system. If you are new to LSIZE, discounts are available on the wireless system.
With the LSIZE Wireless System, you will eventually be able to wirelessly send your measurements to the LSIZE software on your computer and query the LSIZE System. LSIZE Wireless will save you time and money, be easier to use, and provide visual measurement information in real time.
